The trip is 100% asphalt, so the level of demand is low. However, travelers should be in good physical shape, and be used to traveling by motorcycle for several days. This trip is a motorcycle adventure to Morocco, so the pace and stages are dynamic and require a certain physical endurance.

For this trip it is necessary to have a motorcycle with sufficient displacement to cover long distances. As it is a 100% asphalt trip, any type of motorcycle can participate. We recommend trail motorcycles or similar to be able to make the routes comfortably.

In each trip we can do about 2,500 km. In each day we do from 160 to 460 km, depending on the day.

Yes, of course. The usual is that each participant comes with his own bike but we have direct contact with agencies in Malaga that will provide you with the bike you need. Please contact us if you need to rent a motorcycle so we can arrange it as soon as possible.

No preventive vaccinations (yellow fever, typhoid, cholera or similar) or preventive treatments are required to travel to Morocco as a tourist.

To enter Morocco it is only necessary to have a valid passport, which must be valid for at least 3 months from the day of entry into Morocco. At the border crossing a simple form is filled out with personal data and little else. No visa is required to enter Morocco for a period of less than 90 days.

It is necessary to enter Morocco with the motorcycle:

  • Driver’s license.
  • Motorcycle registration certificate.
  • International insurance, known as the green card.

Vehicles must have a valid vehicle inspection certificate (ITV).

If the documentation of the vehicle is not in the name of the person traveling, an authorization of the owner and a photocopy of the ID card that legitimizes the authorization will be necessary. If the motorcycle is rented, the agency must provide this documentation.

The customs service will stamp a kind of visa for the vehicle, which we must keep in order to be able to take the vehicle out of the country, otherwise, we may have problems when we return.

You can check them in our calendar with the trips we have organized. If you do not fit the dates or you have a different idea, please contact us and tell us about your project.

One of the country’s most important sources of income is tourism. Currently, one of the government’s objectives is to become a great tourist power, especially oriented to Europeans. That is why the tourist is usually quite pampered by the authorities, which ensure their welfare, the same happens with trade and people in general.

Contrary to what most people think, Moroccans are kind and honest people. On numerous occasions we have recovered valuables (helmet, camera) that a traveler left outside the hotel during the night and that a passerby found and returned at the hotel reception.

However, it is not advisable to relax with the security measures that we usually take when we travel to any other country in the world.
The motorcycles will spend the night in closed enclosures, either the hotel or under a custody hired by the agency, this does not imply that Ruta Cero Tours, assumes any responsibility in the event of any theft.

Everyone can ride at the pace they want. There will be days when you will feel more like enjoying the ride and others when you will prefer to relax, enjoy the scenery and stop to take some pictures.

No problem, the support vehicle will close the group and you will end up finding it.

In addition, the participants will have the phone numbers of the organizers to contact us whenever you want.

During the motorcycle stages there will be different stops in strategic places, as well as in gas stations, street markets, etc.

The established routes pass through more than enough gas stations to refuel.

After breakfast and before starting the motorcycles, we have a brief meeting to discuss the details of the stage, if we are going to refuel as soon as we leave, if we have to cross a city…

The group is opened by our guide, who maintains a constant pace adapted to the roads we are riding on. As a general rule, the guide will not be overtaken, in order to avoid mistakes at the crossroads.

A support vehicle with a trailer will close the group. In case of doubt on the part of a participant, in a city, crossroads… he/she can wait for the support vehicle to give him/her directions.

Participants can stop whenever they want, a photo, a viewpoint, stretch their legs … with the peace of mind that they have a vehicle of the organization that will always close the group.

In addition, in the documentation of the trip, we provide a road book, the daily hotels, the telephone numbers of the organizers, so you can contact us at any time of the trip.

The trip includes picnic and non-alcoholic beverages that we prepare mid-morning or mid-afternoon on the long stages. But of course, each participant can bring whatever he/she wants.

In case of breakdown the motorcycle will be loaded on the trailer with the idea of repairing it at the next destination. The rider and co-pilot will continue the trip in the support vehicle.

The organization is not responsible for breakdowns or incidents during the trip, but at all times, we will try to find solutions to solve any problem. The mechanic will do everything possible to solve vehicle incidents.

In case of not being able to solve the possible breakdowns, the motorcycle will be transported in vehicles of the organization, and the rider will be able to continue the rest of the trip in an assistance vehicle.

We advise you to adapt your clothes to the season in which you will be traveling. In addition it will be essential to have:

  • quick-drying clothes
  • polar
  • cap to protect from the sun
  • scarf to protect from the wind
  • rain gear
  • swimsuit
  • sport shoes
  • sunglasses
  • toilet bag
  • sunscreen
  • first aid bag

In addition, we recommend carrying the spare key of the motorcycle.

During this motorcycle trip, participants must carry their own luggage and suitcases. The organization is not responsible for possible incidents. Only in exceptional cases it will be possible to transport private belongings in vehicles of the organization.

We will go to 5 star hotels or Kasbash of equal quality. We have selected them after many years traveling around the country and we are sure you will like each and every one of them. All include full board and shared double room (unless you have paid the optional single supplement).

Morocco has a time difference with respect to the mainland of – 1 or 2 hours.

The official currency of Morocco is the Moroccan Dirham, whose exchange rate usually oscillates in 1€ = 11 Dirham approximately.

In general, it is not interesting to buy currency in Spanish banks because the exchange rate is more profitable in Morocco. Once we cross the border we will have the possibility of changing the euros we want in exchange houses or bank offices.

Although practically everyone there accepts euros, it is cheaper to pay in Dirham. During the trip we will find numerous ATMs, which is also a good option to change euros.

The total budget may vary from one person to another according to their personal expenses (souvenirs, tips, private expenses, etc.). We can make an estimate of the items that are not included in this trip:

  • The total cost of gasoline can range from €100 – €200.
  • Tolls amount to approximately xxx€.
  • We will only enter to visit monuments in Marraketch, and the entrance fee is about xxx€.
  • Meals and beverages not included do not exceed 15-20€.

To register you have to fill in the form that appears behind the registration button and accept the terms of service.

In this registration you can pay the full amount of the trip or a reserve of 300€. When there are 15 days left before the start of the trip, the trip must be paid in full.
